Victory Film Series: Spirited Away (2001)

Arkansas Public Theatre (APT) and co-host Anime Cafe will screen SPIRITED AWAY (2001) as part of the Victory Film Series on Saturday, April 22, 2023. This film screening event will also feature a costume contest, a specialty boba drink and steamed buns themed to the film, and prizes!
PG 2001 - ANIMATION/ADVENTURE/FAMILY - 2hr 5min
In this animated feature by noted Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, 10-year-old Chihiro and her parents stumble upon a seemingly abandoned amusement park. After her mother and father are turned into giant pigs, Chihiro meets the mysterious Haku, who explains that the park is a resort for the supernatural beings who need a break from their time spent in the earthly realm, and that she must work there to free herself and her parents.
Doors open at 6pm.
Event begins at 7pm.
Film begins at 7:30pm.

This screening is general admission at $12 per person (including taxes and fees). All seats are ticketed. Patrons age 5+ are welcome. The balcony is only accessible by stairs. Please contact the box office at manager@arkansaspublictheatre.org for accommodations.
